Knowledge transfer and exchange processes for environmental health issues in Canadian Aboriginal communities

Authors Susan M. Jack, Sandy Brooks, Chris M. Furgal and Maureen Dobbins seek to shed light on how Canadian Aboriginal communities use environmental health research evidence in developing policies and programs, highlighting the role of collaborative relationships throughout a research project, and Traditional Knowledge as a distinct type of evidence that must be valued in supporting decisions in Aboriginal communities.
